November 23, 2025The new PicoFox is almost here!
I’ve never had an email list, so staring at a blank page and trying to think about what to say to hundreds of customers, friends, and curious hams is terrifying. The new PicoFox being nearly ready to ship pushed me to finally write this first email.
Behind the scenes I’ve been working on a new manufacturing run of the PicoFox. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the r2 PicoFox. R3 adds adjustable power output up to 65mW, USB-C charging (even when off, such a novel idea!), a much nicer injection-molded enclosure, and many more improvements.
I’ve even designed a footprint on the back of the board for some future upgrades, but you’ll have to wait to read about that.
